Volunteering at Ubuntu Wildlife Sanctuary
HAVE YOU EVER WONDERED:
- I would love to work with predators?
- How can I make a difference to wildlife and animals?
- Well, now is your chance. At Ubuntu Wildlife Sanctuary you can make a difference to our “pride”, by contributing to the caring and well being of these amazing predators.
DAILY TASKS COULD INCLUDE:
- Clean and maintaining predators enclosures and night shelters.
- Preparing and implementing enrichment programs.
- Preparation of food and supplements and assist and watch the enjoyment of feeding.
- Making and maintaining fire breaks around the perimeter of the predator camp.
- General farm work.
- Ensuring that the Sanctuary as a whole runs smoothly.
WE OFFER:
- An experience of a lifetime, to be able to work in close conjunction with our animal carer in caring and loving these predators in the midst of the Outeniqua mountains.
- On site volunteer accommodation and Boma / Educational Centre awaits you after a hard day’s work, where the fires will be lit and ready for a South Africa Braai under the stars with the lions roaring in the background.
